My story

I, Emily Pellecchia, am the product of  Camaguey, Cuba meets Brooklyn, NY… I grew up in the outskirts of New York City with the best family

a girl could ask for.

I started performing at the ripe, awkward age of 12, when I first stepped on stage after getting cast as Grace Farrell in my middle school's production of Annie Jr. I accepted the role only after crying in my mother's arms over not getting cast as the curly red-headed orphan.

Despite being 3 inches taller than Daddy Warbucks, I somehow still thought I had a chance.

Me at the peak of my awkwardness...

Since that monumental and moving performance as Grace, I haven't stopped searching for opportunities to return to the stage. I'm so pumped to be studying Musical Theater at Syracuse University (GO ORANGE)! I've been able to work regionally with incredible talent like Kate Baldwin, Hunter Foster, Craig Schulman, and Aaron Lazar. I'm wildly appreciative for all of those amazing opportunities. I'm thrilled that this is only the beginning of my journey!
